Job Overview

Amazon’s SLP team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to develop and implement a world-class security program to ensure timely delivery at optimal cost. The position is an individual contributor role responsible for the investigation and protection of people and assets at Amazon sites, operating cross-mile with various operations leaders and influencing stakeholders for SLP-specific problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • A. End-to-end responsibility of security operations: oversee guarding services management, headcount, standard work allocation, control room monitoring, performance via Specter, and security assets & systems management. Collaborate with physical security program, technical and vendor teams.
  • B. Site Audits and Certifications: perform frequent audits, remediate defects, and drive certifications for site security compliance, influencing operations to achieve day-to-day secure processes.
  • C. Process Improvement & Loss Prevention: control shrink and prevent losses through proactive identification of process violations during audits and floor patrols, trend analysis, and collaborating with operations to design corrective mechanisms. Identify tech/system interventions for scalable improvement.
  • D. Investigations and Actions: conduct investigations of theft, fraud, and customer abuse using video surveillance evidence, coordinate with local law enforcement, analyze trends, and support ECR and buyer escalations.
  • E. Crisis and Incident Management: evaluate internal and external risks, implement mitigation measures, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead crisis and incident response per WWOS standards.
  • F. Business Reviews: prepare and present business reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR), lead discussions on critical points, build strategic business lens, and partner with field and program leaders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of law enforcement or security-related experience
  • Experience in law enforcement or a security-related profession

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with risk investigation processes
