We’re looking for a
Social Media Manager
to join our dynamic European marketing team based in Milan. In this role, you’ll work closely with the OPPO Europe Marketing team to support high-impact events, manage strategic communications, and ensure brand consistency across 20+ European markets. If you’re hands-on, proactive, and passionate about social media and community building, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities Stay on top of trends and platform nuances across major social channels including TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and KOLs (especially in tech and photography), managing relationships with external stakeholders including agencies, content creators, and talent. Monitor trending topics and cultural moments, turning them into timely and engaging content that resonates with our audiences and drives community growth. Plan and execute content calendars, ensuring consistent and on-brand messaging across all platforms. Support social initiatives for major campaigns, product launches, and events across Europe.
Requirements Approximately 5 years of experience in social media management, ideally within consumer electronics, smartphones, or a related tech industry. Proven ability to manage content calendars, communities, and agency partners; experience with budgeting and campaign execution is essential. Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of social media growth tactics and platform algorithms. Data-driven mindset: capable of analyzing social metrics to optimize performance and draw actionable insights. Familiarity with digital media and/or performance marketing is a strong plus. Proactive, organized, and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a true passion for social media culture.
