Job Description

We’re looking for a Software Configuration Control Specialist who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top‑notch developers and collaborating with our research teams. You will work hard, have fun, and benefit our customers everywhere. This position requires a candidate that can operate in an ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in multiple engineering disciplines and will interface closely with System Engineers, Hardware Development Engineers, and Software Development Engineers across a broad range of technical areas to enable software configuration management mechanisms. You will be required to articulate when gaps are identified, and propose solutions quickly.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
• 3+ years of experience in software configuration management/control
• Experience working within Aerospace Regulatory Environments

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in computer science or electrical engineering
• A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross‑functional projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
• Experience building frameworks for creating complex applications with simplified tools.
• Experience with DO-178C Software Configuration Management
