Software Engineer

TXT Quence , a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer (Java Backend) to be involved in projects within the Banking/Financial sector .

The resource will be responsible for developing application services, focusing on the design and implementation of modern backend solutions based on microservices architectures and database integration.

Main responsibilities

• Backend software development for banking applications;
• Design and development of application services in Java (8+);
• Use of frameworks such as Spring Boot or Vert.x;
• Design and implementation of REST APIs;
• Application of software design patterns and best practices;
• Integration with relational databases (DB2);
• Writing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.

Required technical skills

• Knowledge of Java;
• Knowledge of relational databases;
• At least 3 years of prior experience in this role;
• Experience with Spring Boot.

Optional technical skills

• Knowledge of Banking/Financial domain.

The profile is completed by a good aptitude for teamwork, an aptitude for learning software methodologies and technologies, a results‑oriented approach, analytical skills, and flexibility.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in technical or scientific fields, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
