What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates who would like to be part of our analysis and development teams for predominantly innovative projects related to the development of new applications or the evolution/customization of existing applications.
The position focuses on manual software testing and quality assurance across a product suite in the energy sector. You will use your knowledge of test planning, test execution, defect analysis, and exploratory testing to promote proper engineering practices, improve product quality, and help ensure reliable releases.
Role Description
Collaborate on a team's test effort from planning and organization to execution and delivery, and develop effective manual test strategies; Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new features, enhancements, and regression coverage; Work with team members to keep quality and testing at the forefront of the software development lifecycle; Demonstrate intuition and knowledge about how to find unanticipated behaviors through exploratory testing, document findings clearly, and partner with developers and product stakeholders to resolve issues; Drive adoption of strong quality practices including regression testing, defect prevention, release validation, and measurable quality improvements.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in manual software testing and quality assurance; Strong experience creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and executing regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing; Experience identifying, documenting, reproducing, and tracking defects through resolution; Experience testing SaaS products and validating end-to-end user workflows; Ability to understand and analyze system requirements and translate them into effective tests; Black box and white box testing experience and expertise; Knowledge of main testing tools such as test cases, test managers, and bug trackers; Strong attention to detail and excellent written/oral communication skills; Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage change; Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines; Desire to learn new technologies and continuously improve testing practices; BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in quality assurance; Excellent knowledge of English; English speaking and written; Live in Italy

10+ years of relevant work experience in software testing within a large-scale SaaS environment; Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as JavaScript; Experience with BDD, Cypress, and Cucumber; Experience with Continuous Delivery/Deployment and cloud deployment (AWS); Experience with IntelliJ/WebStorm or similar tools; Ability to contribute to automation efforts as a nice-to-have, but not as a core requirement for the role; Basic knowledge of the Italian language.
