Job Title: Junior Software Engineer (Intern)
Job Location: Rome (Italy)
Main Responsibilities
- Lead integration and delivery of complex software projects (e.g., OCS), acting as technical leader/director, overseeing reviews, implementation, and issue resolution.
- Design and implement integration strategies, covering deployment, configuration, testing, data migration, training, and project acceptance for successful delivery.
- Manage technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions address all product and service delivery requirements.
- Document and communicate technical solutions, facilitating knowledge transfer to customers and teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations) to align business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline, graduating between January 2025 and December 2027.
- Familiarity with software project operations and maintenance processes, as well as basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL) for data migration tasks.
- Basic understanding of OCS systems, with a strong eagerness to learn and contribute to delivering integration solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage tasks effectively.
- Adaptability to work in an international business environment, demonstrating excellent collaboration skills and cultural awareness.
- Language Requirements: Good command of spoken English and fluent in Italian.
