Our Data Management team in

Piacenza

develops engineering data management software that helps our customers deliver successful engineering projects. We are looking for a

Software Engineer

to join our development team currently working on our web‑based Cadmatic Materials

application.

As part of the team, you create new and maintain existing features. You find ways to fulfill user needs, and you strive for efficient technical solutions and good usability. You participate in planning, implementation, and review both independently and as part of the Scrum team. In addition, you work closely with the Product Owner, who guides your everyday tasks.

What helps you succeed in this role :

A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

A couple of years of experience as a motivated Software Engineer.

Proficiency in .NET (C#) and SQL.

Experience with Version Control Systems and RESTful APIs development.

Experience in process industry is highly valued.

Excellent communication skills in English and Italian, both with colleagues and customers worldwide.

Enthusiasm for collaborating closely with customers and ambition to grow within the role, potentially taking on project management responsibilities.

We are especially glad if you have :

Knowledge of PostgreSQL and the ability to draw ER diagrams is a plus.

Experience with Agile/DevOps development and Docker is a nice‑to‑have.

The salary range for this role: Annual base salary of €40 600 – €49 000 plus a variable bonus, with on‑target earnings (OTE) of €47 500 - €57 400.
