Software Engineer

TXT e-Tech , a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit. The resource will be involved in software development activities for avionics sensor data processing systems, operating within a structured system and software engineering environment. The project includes requirements analysis, software architecture definition, MATLAB/Simulink modelling, C language software development, integration and testing activities, with the production of technical documentation according to quality- and traceability-oriented processes. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the aerospace and defense domain, contributing to the development of advanced engineering software systems.

Main responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and prepare technical documentation
• Support software architecture definition activities
• Develop models using MATLAB/Simulink
• Develop software in C language
• Perform software integration and verification activities
• Prepare test procedures, test results and technical reports
• Interface with customer technical representatives for project reviews and progress updates

Required technical skills

• Knowledge of the C programming language
• Operational knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and produce software documentation

Optional technical skills

• Experience in avionics, defense, sensor processing or embedded systems
• Knowledge of structured or regulated software development processes
• Familiarity with version control and configuration management tools
• Basic knowledge of signal processing, data processing or data processing algorithms
• Experience in ISO 9001 / EN 9100 environments or similar

Education

Technical diploma or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in:

• Computer Engineering

• Related technical/scientific disciplines
