Software Technical Support Engineer (1-3 years of expertise)
Location: North Milan 50% WFH
English and Italian are mandatory
This is not a Software developer position
We are working with an innovative company in the robotics / advanced manufacturing space looking for a Software Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team.
⚠️ Important: This is not a software development role . It is a hands-on, support-oriented position combining testing, troubleshooting, and customer interaction.
What you’ll do
- Support internal teams by testing and validating software developed in-house
- Act as Level 2 technical support , assisting field teams (Level 1)
- Troubleshoot software and system issues, occasionally interacting with customers
- Perform hands-on testing on machines (robotics / manufacturing systems)
- Collect feedback from the field and collaborate with engineering and R&D
What we’re looking for
- 1–2 years of experience in technical support in robotics, or industrial environments
- Exposure to software debugging (programming lenguages like C#, Java, Javascript, Bash or Python are a plus, not required)
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Ability to work on-site ~50% (North Milan area)
- Fluent English and Italian (both mandatory)
