Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement

As a Supplier Fulfilment Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for suppliers for all activities related to the execution of direct materials supplies. You will work with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and continuous improvement of their performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of materials for assigned suppliers, monitor production plans, and coordinate logistics until receipt in the system.
• Provide visibility to internal customers on supplier plans, prevent criticalities, and manage priorities.
• Cooperate with suppliers, service fulfillment, manufacturing operations, project managers, quality, and engineering to define preventive actions and recovery plans.
• Support supplier execution, keep main metrics updated, and coordinate with material management for inventory, sales plans, and ODB reduction.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of all documentation associated with supplied materials.
• Interact with the platform and operating units inside procurement to provide regular feedback on supplier performance.
• Partner with quality to support supplier surveillance and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with logistics to generate transportation plans that minimize cost and improve efficiency.
• Support vendor recovery negotiations and accounts payable resolution on invoice issues.
• Advise on procurement initiatives through continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, procurement, supply‑chain, finance, economics, or equivalent MBA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, operations, supply‑chain, project management, or commercial, preferably with oil and gas product knowledge.
• Quick adaptation to new products, business areas, and managed commodities.
• Stress‑resilient; able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in complex environments.
• Ability to maintain workload under high‑pressure conditions through effective organization and prioritization.
• Analytical approach to problem identification and rapid resolution.
• Team‑working attitude, motivation, and focus on results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for regional and international assignments.
• Fluency in Italian and English with an EU passport.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems.
