We are a leading hospitality group managing two prestigious 4-star hotels in the heart of Florence. Our first hotel, opened in 2017, has earned a strong reputation for service excellence and outstanding guest satisfaction.
We are now preparing to open our second property, which will feature a brand-new, high-end SPA, set to become a key wellness destination in the historic center of Florence.
To lead this exciting launch and ensure the highest standards from day one, we are looking for a dynamic and skilled SPA Coordinator to oversee all operational, organizational, and strategic aspects of the wellness department within the new property.
Role Objective:
The SPA Coordinator is responsible for supervising and overseeing the operational and organizational management of the SPA, consistently monitoring quality standards, compliance with established procedures, and achievement of set objectives. They report to and coordinate with the General Manager, under whose guidance they define and implement strategies to ensure the best possible guest experience. Specifically, the role includes outreach aimed at managing and retaining local clientele, as well as internal focus to meet the expectations of a discerning and knowledgeable international clientele, particularly American guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk activities, bookings, and guest reception at the SPA.
- Coordinate and manage work schedules for the team (therapists, receptionists, SPA attendants) to ensure efficient service in line with expected workloads.
- Ensure proper implementation of operational protocols and adherence to SPA quality and hygiene standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, and handle feedback and complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to promote SPA services to the public.
- Maintain effective communication with the hotel front desk and other departments to foster synergy and integrated offerings.
- Oversee the sale of cosmetic products and manage inventory, ensuring timely reorders.
- Train and motivate the team to maintain service excellence.
- Manage availability of services for sale across both offline and online channels.
- Prepare and analyze, in collaboration with the General Manager, regular reports on SPA performance (attendance, sales, customer feedback, etc.).
Required Skills:
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.

- Team management and conflict resolution skills.
- Solid knowledge of wellness protocols and high-end SPA treatments.
Languages:
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French or German) is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in aesthetics, wellness, hospitality, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in luxury or boutique SPAs, ideally within hospitality venues but with strong orientation toward the local clientele.
- Specific experience in start-up roles is considered an added value.
