A key player in major strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner for Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the **Space Division**, we are looking for a **Test Equipment Mechanical Engineer** for our office in **Campi Bisenzio (FI)**.This person will primarily deal with the design and construction of production lines.**The person will be responsible for**:* Participating in concurrent activities with project engineering* Participating in client reviews* Designing and commissioning both mechanical and optical line equipment (TGSE with thermal support, MGSE with mechanical support, OGSE with optical support) and those related to TVC setups* Performing structural and thermal analysis of equipment* Supporting the execution of product qualification tests (TVC, vibrations…) both internally and at external suppliers* Supporting the satellite integration phase* Designing packaging for the shipment of components and products* Contributing to the startup and validation phases of production lines and supporting training* Designing test equipment for assemblies, products, and systems* Issuing packing/unpacking procedures, setup assembly procedures, and commissioning reports* Issuing technical specifications for special GSE (lifting systems, handlers, …)**Education:*** Master's Degree in STEM (preferably Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering)**Required experience level:*** Junior: 1-3 years of experience in the role**Technical skills and knowledge:*** Mechanical design* Structural and thermal analysis* Reading mechanical drawings* Drafting assembly procedures**Behavioral competencies:*** Teamwork* Analytical thinking* Detail-oriented* Organization* Effective communication**Language skills:*** English (min. level B2)**Computer skills:*** 3D modeling software* Ansys* Office Suite**Other:*** Availability to travel**Seniority:**Junior**Primary Location:**IT - Firenze - Campi Bisenzio**Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**Hybrid
