Amazon Business (AB) entered the business‑to‑business (B2B) market in 2015 and currently serves over 6 million customers worldwide. The organization is growing rapidly and seeks talented finance professionals to scale operations.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance Business Partner to the Small Business customer segment, partnering with stakeholders across the US, EU, and JP.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial models, business insights, and recommendations that drive results and influence leaders.
• Standardize and track the effectiveness of promotional spend to optimize promotion strategy.
• Provide financial support to key business initiatives aimed at increasing customer engagement.
• Influence business decisions through effective verbal and written communication, data‑driven analysis, and presentation of options and alternatives.
• Perform financial reporting, ad‑hoc data analysis, and financial modeling using Excel, SQL, and Cognos.
• Transform existing financial processes through artificial intelligence initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, mathematics, computer science).
• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, or Cognos, and other financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, or JD Edwards.
• Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis.
• Advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.

USA, TX, Austin – $66,900.00 – $117,100.00 USD annually; USA, WA, Seattle – $82,700.00 – $117,100.00 USD annually.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
