Job summary
Key job responsibilities
The Data ISM owns the Data ISVs partner go-to-market and sell-with responsibilities and ensures that:
- Customers, AWS, and ISV sales teams understand the value of ISV Data partners and how to engage.
- Builds a strategic Data ISV plan.
- Develops internal and external enablement and marketing activities.
- ISV Data partners have brand awareness and drive new customer demand.
- Qualified Data ISV partners are recommended for opportunities and deliver quality results, working with customers and AWS teams to create and advance qualified sales opportunities.
- Partners know what is required for success in the territory where they operate.
- Engage with the customer’s business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise in their environment.
- Assist the Data ISV partners in building their consulting partner network by recommending SIs in the AWS APN program.
- Experience working with AWS Data Consulting Partners and/or Data Technology partners.
- Direct sales experience.
- Demonstrated experience exceeding quota and key performance metrics.
- Presentation and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
- Experience working within the enterprise software development industry and matrixed environments.
- Deep experience managing joint GTM success with technology partners, including development and tracking of joint sell-with and sell-through business activities.
- Experience in Partner Sales or overlay sales roles—building bridges and collaborating between partner and company field sales organizations to build mutual trust, enablement, and joint sales motions.
- Experience developing and promoting technology partner value propositions to direct sales organizations.
- Experience in enterprise software and familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
- Experience implementing effective joint GTM programs for ISV technology partners, including joint sales enablement, demand generation, lead tracking, deal registration, and joint sales reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and a profound willingness to collaborate with multi-locational, cross-functional teams internally and externally.
