Stage | Hardware Engineer | Udine

Overview

As a Hardware Engineer at Kronotech, part of the Lutech Group, you will design and develop microcomputer terminals for IoT products. The role includes PCB layout, component selection, simulation, functional testing, and documentation. You will collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers to define interfaces and implement product architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic boards (schematics and PCB layout) – selecting, sizing, and optimizing components; simulations and functional tests.
• Interface with firmware and mechanical designers to support interface definition and architecture implementation.
• Document design and generate production files.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electronic engineering.
• Knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken B2).
• Experience with electronic design tools (preferably Altium Designer).
• Experience with hardware simulation tools (Spice).
• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation.

Preferred Skills

• RFID technology (LF, HF, UHF).
• EMC / power supply issues.
• Communication interfaces: CAN-like UART, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS232/485.
• ARM Cortex architectures.
• Bluetooth/BLE.
