We are looking for an Intern to join our R&D Centre of Excellence in Monza, reporting to the R&D Senior Specialist. The center focuses on the development of OTC products, Cosmetics, Medical Devices and Food Supplements.

Main Activities

• Supporting the R&D Senior Specialist in the formulation and development of cosmetic products and medical devices, in line with project briefs
• Managing sampling preparation and shipping activities
• Performing stability and compatibility tests
• Creating product documentation for regulatory and marketing purposes
• Researching and evaluating new raw material suppliers and attending relevant trade fairs or exhibitions
• Keeping up to date with industry trends through scientific journals and other sources, in order to analyze the reference market and suggest innovative solutions
• Operating laboratory equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with various global functions, including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Safety & Vigilance, and the Manufacturing Site

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Chemistry or Pharmacy or other scientific discipline.
• Post graduate qualification in a science discipline or work related to the position would be an advantage.

• Good manual skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work on cross-functional projects
• Intermediate (or higher) level of English proficiency
