Static Equipment Engineer

As Static Equipment Engineer , you will respond to the Static Equipment Lead and be part of the ENCAR business line.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Storage Tanks, Air Coolers, Reactors, Columns, Vessels and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers;
• Co-ordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem (i.e. Review Client technical documentation and requirements, Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents;)
• Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award;
• Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost);
• Prepare detail engineering documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, etc.
• Optimize the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience: Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies

Technical Skills: focus on static equipment (mainly on Columns and Vessels)

IT Skills: familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (i.e. PV Elite, Compress, or similar)

You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for.

• Location: Milan . Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month). Availability to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year
