In this role you will lead the engineering of static equipment (columns and vessels) for complex international projects. You will coordinate the discipline within the project team, ensure compliance with technical, budget, schedule and quality targets, and manage external interfaces and procurement support. You will contribute to Saipem’s energy transition goals by delivering robust, safe, and efficient static equipment solutions at scale. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role with a strong focus on technical leadership and project delivery.

• Lead and coordinate all engineering activities for static equipment within the project
• Act as discipline focal point in the project task force
• Plan and verify project budget alignment and resource needs
• Define scope of engineering activities and prepare discipline deliverable lists
• Plan resource allocation and detect schedule risks
• Coordinate with other centers or external specialists as needed
• Ensure availability of basic design information and define equipment lists and commodity codes
• Prepare RFQ plans and establish basic design philosophies for static equipment
• Prepare technical annexes for subcontracted engineering and coordinate external subcontractors
• Issue specifications and RFQs for static equipment packages; monitor procurement documentation and vendor documentation follow-up
• Handle Client comments, support project management in technical interfaces with Client
• Support post-order activities including Vendor ITPs, NCRs, and resolution of issues
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• at least 5 years’ experience in similar roles with international Main Contracting & Engineering Companies
• focus on static equipment (columns and vessels)
• familiarity with Office software and Mechanical Equipment Design tools (PV Elite, Compress or similar)
