Position requires 6+ weeks of in‑role training at an operating site located 50+ miles from home; all travel and accommodations are paid by Amazon.

Amazon’s Worldwide Operations network delivers millions of packages daily. This Operations Manager will lead a team of salaried and hourly talent, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while driving data‑driven improvements.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Lead large‑scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determine productivity requirements, and partner with other leaders to load balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts lasting up to 12 hours; continuously climb and descend stairs.
• Work in environments with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions (e.g., outside loading departments and refrigerated grocery locations).
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or overnight shifts.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience (blue badge/FTE).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

Salary range: 81,900.00 – 122,800.00 USD annually.
