The internship is designed as a concrete opportunity for growth and training for recent graduates who wish to begin their professional path in clinical research, statistical programming and clinical data standards.This position represents an excellent opportunity for candidates with an academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields, who are interested in applying their programming and analytical skills in the context of clinical trials and regulatory data standards.The selected candidate will be involved in a professional training path and, with the support of senior statistical programmers and the Company Tutor, will have the opportunity to progressively acquire practical and technical skills while contributing to the main activities of the Statistical Programming team.Main responsibilitiesSupporting the Statistical Programming team in the development, validation and quality control of clinical datasets, tables, listings and figures using SAS and/or R;Contributing to the preparation and review of CDISC-compliant datasets, including SDTM and ADaM, under the supervision of senior statistical programmers;Assisting in the preparation and quality control of submission-related documentation, such as define.xml, SDRG and ADRG;Performing consistency checks across datasets, specifications, documentation and clinical study outputs;Supporting the documentation of programming activities, dataset derivations, validation checks and quality control processes;Contributing to the development and maintenance of SAS/R/Python utilities, macros and tools aimed at automating data checks, reporting activities and documentation workflows;Working closely with statistical programmers, data managers, statisticians and clinical operations to support the timely and accurate delivery of clinical data outputs.RequirementsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field;Good programming skills, preferably in SAS and/or R;Basic knowledge of Python;Interest in clinical trials, clinical research and clinical data standards;Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude;Excellent attention to detail;Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team;Strong motivation and willingness to learn;Good verbal and written English.Preferred qualificationsBasic knowledge of CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM;Familiarity with clinical datasets, data validation, reporting or documentation workflows;Previous academic or project experience involving SAS, R or Python;Interest in pursuing a career in statistical programming within clinical research.What we offerA 6-month fixed-term internship contract;A concrete and qualifying training experience within an innovative biotech company;The opportunity to learn clinical statistical programming activities directly on the job;Practical experience in a dynamic, international and multidisciplinary environment;Ongoing support and guidance for professional growth;Expense reimbursement of €800 per month. xdwybme If you would like to start your professional path in statistical programming and contribute to the development of innovative therapies in a continuously growing environment, please send your CV to Job Location: SienaWe invite interested candidates to submit their applications expressly authorizing the processing of personal data in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/2003.
