Statutory Controller Italy

Gardner Denver S.r.l. is looking for a Statutory Controller Italy who will be based at the Parma or Vignate site. This role reports directly to the RTR Leader and will oversee a team of one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Statutory Compliance
• Timely and accurate preparation of Financial Statements
• Maintenance of Statutory vs US GAAP ledger alignment
• Coordination of Organismo di Vigilanza requirements
• Internal and External audit liaison, including SOX
• Tax Compliance, including corporate income and local tax return preparation and filing
• Liaison with external tax advisors for CIT computation and return preparation
• VAT liaison with SSC team and external advisors
• Timely tax payments
• Entity reviews to ensure adherence to transfer pricing models, liaising with external advisors
• Participation in monthly US GAAP reporting close, including account reconciliations and journal entries
• Oversight of accounting entries by SSC
• Supervision of payroll processing
• Treasury coordination
• Sales agents' commission calculations
• Company secretarial tasks (e.g., board/shareholder minutes, Power of Attorney)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of OIC Accounting Standards and working knowledge of US GAAP
• Working knowledge of Italian Tax rules
• Fluent in business Italian and English
• Experience working in a dynamic, matrix organization
• Resilient, capable of working under tight and changing deadlines
• Team player, able to work across disciplines and locations
• Customer-focused, strong communicator, problem solver
• Willingness to travel regularly within Italy and occasionally to European sites
