Structural Engineer

Overview

Job description: We are looking for a professional Structural Engineer willing to join the Engineering department of our Business Unit Tenova Material Handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback results from the calculation to the specialist functions involved in the project
• Elaborate detailed calculation and design of the supporting structures using suitable software
• Check the calculation carried out by external engineering companies
• Collect the design standard codes for different countries and for several equipment or structures
• Select and analyse the most appropriate technological solutions, performing relevant calculations
• Elaborate design criteria and the most adequate dimensioning for all the system components
• Provide input data to the specialist functions involved in the project
• Participate, if necessary, in the start-up of the component/plant/product

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2/3 years of experience in similar role
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Teamworking, coordination with site team (electrical, automation) and end user
• Willing to travel
