Experienced Studio Manager (with a strong International network) who can be firstly based in Stockholm and then help coordinate the Studio move to Italy.
There will be a satellite office in Stockholm, however the main studio will be in the Capalbio area (of Italy) with a small office in Rome
Eventually, the ideal candidate will work from the Main studio in the Capalbio area for 2 / 3 days a week and the rest of the time from the Rome office / WFH
As a driven and internationally connected Studio Manager, you will be the main link between the artists and galleries, collectors, institutions and fabricators.
The role will involve production coordination, team supervision, relationship management and sales support - in essence, expanding the Studio's international presence
Responsibilities -
Oversee daily studio operations in both locations, including scheduling, finances, supplies and systems
Team management
Coordinate production with fabricators and vendors to deliver high quality results on time and within budget
Manage all logistics - fabrication, shipping, installation and documentation
Act as main contact for galleries, institutions and collectors - develop and maintain an international network
Support sales processes, proposals and strategic outreach in key markets
Maintain inventory, archives and contracts
Qualifications -
3+ years experience in studio management, project coordination, sales or art production
Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organisational skills
Established international contacts in the Art works
Ability to grow and manage client relationships
Fluent In English, Italian highly desired, Swedish not required
Knowledge of contemporary art, exhibition production and sales processes
