Offer Description
The research project aims to study and characterize working fluids, both pure and in mixtures, for closed cycles operating at medium–high temperatures (400–550 °C), with applications in waste heat recovery and renewable energy. The activities include the identification of suitable fluids through theoretical analysis and literature review, followed by the experimental evaluation of thermodynamic properties required for power cycle modeling. In particular, thermal stability tests and measurements of vapor pressure and vapor–liquid equilibrium for binary mixtures are planned. In parallel, component-level models of the system will be developed using commercial software to estimate overall cycle performance and support the selection of the most efficient solutions. The evaluation criteria are established in the call; knowledge of Italian and English is required Eligibility of fellows: country/ies of residence: Eligibility of fellows: nationality/ies:
