Supply Chain Project Engineer – PLF Design

Experteer Overview

In this role, you coordinate PLF design‑related activities across engineering, qualification, and supplier management to ensure on‑time delivery of aerospace payload fairing projects. You’ll bridge Italian teams and European suppliers, maintaining progress visibility and compliant documentation. The position combines technical oversight with supplier and quality interfaces, demanding strong communication and organizational skills. You will contribute to the efficiency and success of mission‑critical test and qualification programs.

Retribuzione / Benefits

• Supplier on‑site coordination at Zurich supplier (1–2 days/week) to follow development, industrialization, production, and testing
• Technical & engineering support including review of specifications, ICDs, test plans and qualification reports
• Ensure alignment between supplier deliverables and system requirements
• Support testing, verification and qualification activities, including data traceability
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Quality on planning, deliveries and readiness; manage NCRs, deviations and concessions
• Prepare structured daily/weekly updates and progress reports; maintain traceability of activities and deliverables
• Ensure export‑controlled documentation handling and contribute to export process documentation

Responsabilità

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or another STEM field
• Background in engineering, structures, supply chain coordination or manufacturing follow‑up
• Experience in supplier coordination or technical project roles
• Familiarity with testing, verification, qualification processes and technical documentation
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles (NCR, corrective actions, audits)
• Ability to work in a multi‑stakeholder international environment
• Accuracy in handling documentation and ensuring traceability
• Familiarity with export‑controlled documentation (training available)
• Excellent English
• Wilingness to travel across Europe (Switzerland, Belgium, France)
• Aerospace sector experience preferred
