System Engineer Battery management

Overview
In this role, you develop battery management functions for electrochemical high voltage batteries following the V model. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing functional concepts in alignment with system requirements, constraints, and dependencies
- Preparing requirement specifications and coordinating with requirements managers
- Coordinating and monitoring implementation in Simulink, including functional validation
- Commissioning and calibration of software at MiL, HiL, storage, or vehicle level
- Creating and maintaining documentation for functions and interfaces
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Initial experience in model based function development or control engineering
- Knowledge of battery systems, electrochemistry, CAN communication and/or functional safety (ISO 26262)
- Confident use of MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Jira, CANalyzer, INCA, Turbolab, ZEDIS, Aida Prima, ADD, Octane, Codebeamer, CRETA beneficial
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a proactive, self driven working style
- Fluent English required; German skills are an advantage
