System Engineer Mission

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic people with the passion to support our vision and help to change the future of aviation. We are now offering a fascinating position as a Senior System Engineer.

The Senior System Engineer will contribute to the specification, design, realization, factory test, on site start-up and lifecycle management of complex systems for managing the visual aids of airports.

Responsibilities:

• You are accountable for AGL design, system integration, and products selection
• You support the bidding team in defining technical proposals and cost estimations based on customer requirements.
• You assist Project Management during project execution.
• You support system validation including factory acceptance test with customer
• You generate and maintain project and product documentation such as system configuration, system/product manuals and design reports
• You support the activities of service engineers during on-site commissioning activities, warranty interventions and maintenance

Required Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic production or integration industries or engineering companies is mandatory.
• Professional experience in electrical design, system integration, installation, and testing is preferable.
• Experience in airport technology is not required, but a strong interest in the field is highly appreciated.
• Experience in the continuous and integrated use of generative artificial intelligence tools is mandatory for this role.
• Strong interest in and commitment to continuously learning new technologies is key to success in the role.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical CAD is an asset.
• Knowledge of the principles and application of communication network and power network is an advantage.
• strong flexibility, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach are essential skills for success in this position
• Fluent English proficiency is a must, additional language (e.g. French) is considered a plus
