As a protagonist in the main strategic programs at a global level, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the Data Link System & Italian Navy Retrofit Project area of the Electronics Division, we are looking for a **System Engineer for Combat Management System & Tactical Data Links** for our **Taranto** office.The person, integrated into a work team, will take part in the various phases of the life cycle of Tactical Data Link products and the modernization of the Combat Management System (CMS) of naval systems.The activity will take place at the Taranto office (prevalently), in the laboratories set up at the Rome office, in the land centers of the Armed Forces (Navy, Air Force and Army) and on board naval units both in Italy and abroad.**The person will mainly deal with the following activities:*** Installation and configuration of Combat Management System (CMS) and Tactical Data Links (TDL) systems both in-house and at customers' premises and on board naval units;
* Configuration of existing networks;
* Verification and validation of correct system functionality;
* Integration in the centers prepared at customers' premises and on board naval units;
* Updating of obsolete or non-performing systems in operation.**Education:*** Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.**Seniority:*** **Junior**: 1-3 years of experience;
**Expert:** 3-5 years of experience.**Technical knowledge and skills:*** Strong analytical and mathematical background;
* Excellent knowledge ofLinux and Microsoft Windows operating systems;
* Knowledge of communication networks;
* Knowledge of the most common virtualization tools (VmWare, VirtualBox);
* Ability to analyze system requirements and reference technical documentation.**A plus:*** CISCO, Microsoft or Linux certifications;
* Knowledge of Radio Frequency communication systems.**Behavioral skills:*** Analytical, synthesis and effective communication skills;
* Ability to work in a team;
* Negotiation skills;
* Ability to interface with customers;
* Customer and results orientation;
