Overview
In this role you will shape the go-to-market and technical direction for NXP's silicon-based system solutions in healthcare. You will bridge medical device know-how with commercial strategy, creating reference designs and PoCs that demonstrate value to OEMs while driving global business for the healthcare segment. You’ll lead cross-functional teams from concept to working demonstrator and own the regional design-win pipeline and revenue trajectory. Expect to engage with customers, partners, and executives to align strategy with market needs and regulatory requirements. This is a strategic, impact-driven position at a company shaping healthcare technology and patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Define system reference design and PoC requirements for priority healthcare applications (e.g., patient monitoring, CGM, infusion pumps, POCUS, surgical robotics) Translate clinical and OEM use cases into technical specifications across MCU/MPU, analog front-end, connectivity, security, and AI compute Lead cross-functional execution with systems engineering, applications, and design teams from concept through working demonstrator Prepare program introduction materials (business case, technical brief, executive readout) to secure internal investment and resourcing Define success criteria, BOM cost targets, and differentiation vs. competitive solutions Own healthcare segment revenue, design-win pipeline, and SAM/forecast tracking across regions Build and maintain relationships with global OEM partners and Tier-1 accounts Coordinate regional sales and FAE teams to align global strategy with local execution Track competitive landscape and market share movement; report against business KPIs Develop technical articles, white papers, and benchmarking content for executive and customer-facing audiences Support executive strategy decks, design-win playbooks, and roadmap communications Represent NXP healthcare strategy in customer engagements, trade shows, and analyst briefings Qualifications
7+ years in semiconductor system marketing, applications engineering, or product management with healthcare/medical device exposure Demonstrated experience taking a reference design from definition through customer-facing launch Strong grasp of regulatory context (IEC 60601, FDA) as it shapes system architecture decisions Excellent written/verbal communication for senior executive and OEM partner audiences Global travel availability Benefits
