Role Overview
TXT e‑Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a System Safety / HW Platform Engineer to join complex Defense projects, working on‑site at the customer’s premises.
The selected professional will be involved in system engineering and system safety activities related to hardware platforms used for the deployment of core business applications in defense systems.
The role covers the entire platform lifecycle, from requirements definition and management through integration, qualification, and acceptance, contributing to safety‑critical systems and system‑of‑systems deployed on aerial, land, and naval platforms.
Activities will include electronic design aspects, HW / SW integration, physical system behavior, and modeling of computing architectures integrated with communication and launch systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of system requirements throughout the entire lifecycle (definition, traceability, verification, and validation)
- Design and HW / SW integration of computing and communication platforms
- Analysis of system‑level safety requirements and support to risk mitigation activities
- Preparation of Safety and RAMT documentation (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability)
- Support to platform qualification and acceptance activities with suppliers and subcontractors
- Contribution to System Engineering activities in compliance with international standards (ARP4754, ARP4761, DO‑178, DO‑254, IEC 61508)
- Technical interaction with customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent)
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Information Engineering

Required Experience
- Middle level: 3–5 years of professional experience in similar roles
- Senior level: 6+ years of professional experience in comparable environments
Language Skills
- Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken

- Teamwork and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time and priorities
