The role
We are looking for a talent leader who has lived through the chaos of scaling a startup, someone equally at home in strategic conversations with founders and in the execution of a full recruitment cycle.
This is our first Talent hire. You will own everything from scratch: process, pipeline, brand, and the culture that attracts the best people. You will work directly with founders and department leads to shape how Skillvue grows.
You will be the face of Skillvue in the talent market, the person who makes top candidates want to join before they ever speak to a hiring manager. This role is hands-on. If you love building from zero, keep reading.
What you will own
Employer brand & talent attraction
Be the face of Skillvue in the talent market, at events, in communities, on social, in every candidate interaction. Design employer branding campaigns, build our careers website, craft job posts, and own the candidate experience from first touchpoint to signed offer.
Talent community & pipeline building
Great hires come from relationships started months before a role opens. Identify, engage, and stay connected with top profiles in our key talent segments, even with no active opening. Build the tools and touchpoints that keep Skillvue top of mind.
Talent acquisition
Own the full recruitment lifecycle across all functions: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer, onboarding. Define hiring frameworks and structured interview processes. Partner with hiring managers to translate team needs into effective hiring strategies.
Onboarding
Own the onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days. Build structured programs that help new hires ramp fast and feel connected. Work with department leads to create role-specific paths beyond the generic company overview.
Org & people development
Work with founders to design career paths, leveling frameworks, and org structures. Support department leads in building clearer team structures. Contribute to a culture of transparency and growth.
Who you are
You have 5+ years in talent acquisition, with real time inside a fast-growing startup, and the scars to prove it. You have built things from scratch: processes, pipelines, employer brand, onboarding programs. You did not inherit them; you created them.
Top talent wants to talk to you. You are credible, warm, and genuinely curious about people. You can hold your own with founders and senior leaders, and you are just as comfortable doing the work yourself.
You love startups: the pace, the ambiguity, the fact that what you build this week matters next week. You love working directly with founders and being close to decisions that shape the company.
Hands-on, resourceful, highly organized. You move between strategic thinking and operational execution without losing momentum. B2B SaaS or HR tech experience is a strong plus. Excellent English is a must; Italian is a bonus.
