For an international and fast-growing company operating in a dynamic, multicultural environment, we are looking for a Tax & Accounting Manager to join the Finance team.

This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting across multiple entities, within a lean organization undergoing rapid expansion.

About the role

As Tax & Accounting Manager, you will lead all accounting and tax activities for the Italian entity, liaising closely with HQ, Controlling, and external advisors.

You will play a key role in both operations and process development, contributing to the enhancement of internal controls, optimization of systems, and continuous improvement of Finance processes in a fast-paced international setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee statutory accounting, ensuring compliance with Italian GAAP and alignment with IFRS reporting requirements
• Manage Italian tax compliance (VAT, withholding taxes, periodic and annual filings) and coordinate external tax advisors
• Lead month-end closing activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting packages
• Supervise Accounts Payable and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform and review bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations with European entities (Italy, Poland, Germany)
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and documentation standards
• Support SAP (preferably S/4HANA) reporting, data extraction, and system optimization
• Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain, and HQ teams on accounting and tax matters
• Act as a key partner to the CFO (Italy & UK), providing technical and operational support
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process harmonization across the Finance function
