We are looking for a passionate Tax Specialist to join the Administration & Tax Department, located in Venice (VE).
The new joiner will be involved in managing tax matters related to the Group’s ordinary and extraordinary activities, tax litigation, as well as adherence to Transfer Pricing regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor developments in domestic and international tax regulations, assess their impact on Group companies, and propose appropriate solutions. Share know‑how internally and issue relevant procedures. Ensure compliance with regulations and conduct internal tax audits.
- Provide support to various Group business functions in managing tax-related aspects.
- Coordinate Group companies in collecting information and documentation related to Group tax affairs initiatives.
- Monitor, support, and review the work of tax advisors responsible for preparing all tax compliance activities for Group entities (e.g. tax consolidation, corporate income tax returns, VAT), including tracking related deadlines.
- Monitor, support, and review the tax advisors responsible for preparing Transfer Pricing documentation (Master File, Local File, and Country‑by‑Country Report) for the various Group companies.
- Provide technical tax support on cross‑border transactions, intra‑group flows, and specific tax projects involving relevant geographic areas.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors, as needed, to ensure the company’s tax practices align with industry’s best practices and local regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics or related fields. A Master’s degree in Tax Law or an equivalent specialization is considered a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in similar roles within professional tax firms or corporate tax departments.
- Technical knowledge of corporate taxation, local and international taxation, corporate law, accounting, and general tax compliance.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
