Team Lead English Product Copy (f/m/d)

Overview

To support our team we are searching for a Team Lead English Product Copy (f/m/d) to be based in our Milan office.

What You Will Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the English and Localization Product Copy team, managing priorities, workloads, and performance across 11 editors.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product descriptions, biographies, and supporting product content for daily uploads and key launches.
• Maintain excellent editorial standards across English and localized copy, ensuring accuracy, consistency, tone of voice, and legal compliance.
• Oversee proofreading and QA processes across English, Arabic, Korean, and Chinese content.
• Coordinate workflows with internal stakeholders, external partners, and localization vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Improve editorial processes, guidelines, and team efficiency in line with business needs.
• Collaborate closely with Buying, Digital Merchandising, Marketing, SEO, Legal, and Tech teams.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members.
• Report directly to the Head of Product Copy & Localization.

Who You Are

• Native-level English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar, spelling, and editorial judgment.
• 8+ years of professional experience in copywriting, editing, localization, or content production within ecommerce, fashion, editorial, or digital environments.
• First experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating a team, with strong people management potential and a collaborative leadership style.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workflows, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience working with multilingual content or localization processes across international markets is highly desirable.
• Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments. Solution-oriented, proactive, and hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, translation management systems, AI-assisted content tools, and MS Office applications is a plus.
• Passion for luxury fashion, strong awareness of designers and trends, and affinity with the Mytheresa brand universe.
