We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Technical Buyer, who will join us in Beinasco. In this role you will be responsible for all activities related to sourcing, purchasing and subcontracted services within specific projects. This role ensures cost‑effective procurement of materials, equipment and external services while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and supplier performance.


This position plays a key role in negotiating contracts, optimizing the supplier base, coordinating subcontracted work packages, supporting operational continuity and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The selected candidate will be integrated in the new Procurement Team (Purchasing, Subcontracting and external Manufacturing)


YOUR TASKS


Purchasing & Manufacturing

  • Prepare RFQs based on technical documentation and drawings received by Engineering Dept.
  • Manage the full purchasing cycle: requisitions, orders, confirmations, deliveries and invoice resolution.
  • Define sourcing strategies according to products, projects and timing
  • Ensure timely and accurate purchase orders aligned with production and project needs.
  • Maintain purchasing data, price lists and supplier documentation.


Subcontracting

  • Identify, evaluate, and select subcontractors for specialized services or work packages.
  • Prepare RFQs and Technical Specifications for turnkey and installation activities in co-operation with Engineering Dept.
  • Prepare and negotiate subcontracting agreements aligned with technical specifications and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring deadlines, quality, and safety standards are respected.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and implement corrective actions when needed.


GOALS

  • Ensure on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery contracts for all projects.
  • Support the Procurement culture built on transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support standardization and efficiency in Procurement process.
  • Support cross-department collaboration to optimize project execution and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Contribute to the development of team competencies to meet future requirements in digitalization, sustainability, and global project environments.


YOUR SKILLS


  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Engineering or Project Management within automotive, industrial automation or plant engineering.
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP will be a plus)
  • Very good communication in English (spoken and written). German language skills is a plus.
  • Understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, risk analysis and contract management.
  • High problem-solving ability, decision-making skills and a structured, proactive working style.
  • Capability to foster teamwork, build trust and create a positive performance culture.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when necessary.
