Responsibilities

  • You own the vision, mission, and execution of the Developer Platform and Cloud Platform, driving their strategic development, technical evolution, maintenance, and overall quality.
  • You take end‑to‑end ownership of technical product components, including APIs, platform services, integrations, cloud building blocks, and shared platform capabilities.
  • You act as the central interface between business, architecture, engineering, and operations, ensuring strong alignment between platform capabilities and overall product strategy.
  • You translate requirements from product, domain, and business teams (software, data, and AI) into clear, actionable technical requirements and platform solutions that enable teams effectively.
  • You govern technical quality and non‑functional requirements, especially security, scalability, resilience, and observability, while continuously maintaining and improving technical documentation such as API specifications, ADRs, and operational guidelines.
  • You identify and manage technical debt, steer targeted platform modernization initiatives, and continuously evolve the platform through API standards, reusable patterns, and shared solutions for domain teams.

Qualifications

  • You have a deep technical understanding of developer portals (e.g. Backstage), modern software architectures, APIs and event‑driven architectures, cloud technologies (Azure), Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • You have experience collaborating closely with cross‑functional engineering teams across backend, frontend, cloud, data, AI, and DevOps.
  • You are well‑versed in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and bring solid experience in product ownership within agile environments.
  • You have a strong understanding of non‑functional requirements such as security, availability, resilience, and observability, and consistently consider them in technical decision‑making.
  • You are able to identify, assess, and manage technical debt and modernization needs with a structured, priority‑driven approach.
  • You excel in communication and decision‑making, explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders, and work analytically and effectively in international, cross‑functional teams.
