PRIMARY FUNCTION
We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Regulation Specialist to join our Vehicle & Battery Homologation – Technical Regulations team. He/she will work on Environment, Battery and Digital topics. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and interpreting technical regulations and standards related to commercial vehicles and HV batteries, advocating IVECO’s technical position, ensuring our products comply with all relevant laws and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES
- Consolidate the interpretation of Environment, Battery and Digital regulations related to commercial vehicles and HV batteries
- Internal sharing of knowledge related to regulatory evolution using company instruments
- Work closely with the Technology & Digital department to ensure the understanding of technical regulations
- Extensive interaction with National, European and global regulatory associations (ANFIA-ACEA-OICA) to stay informed about upcoming regulatory
changes
- Act as a reliable partner for internal stakeholders regarding the preparation of documentation and reports related to regulatory compliance
- Coordinates the technical position in Technology & Digital department and cooperate with Public Affair department on company position with
regard to legislative scenarios
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related field
- Knowledge of technical regulations and standards related to commercial vehicles and HV batteries
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Environment, Battery and Digital in automotive sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Availability to travel (mainly to EU countries): 20%, 4 business trips per year, each for 3 days.
- Proficiency in Italian and English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of other languages is a plus
