Saipem Spa, a global leader in engineering and construction for energy and infrastructure projects, is seeking a Technical Safety Engineer in Loss Prevention and Firefighting Activities to join its Technical Safety and Environmental Department within the Energy Carriers business line. The role involves conducting activities across all project phases, focusing on:
- Loss prevention activities such as Fire and Gas Detection, Hazardous Area Classification, Passive Fire Protection, and safety signage.
- Firefighting system design, sizing, and evaluation, including fire water networks, pumps, and deluge systems.
- Preparation of design basis, PFDs/P&IDs, and system specifications.
- Interface with clients and evaluation of suppliers and contractors.
- Managing engineering subcontractors and contributing to team and methodology development.
Qualifications: Master's or Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines.
Languages: English C1 level.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry, with experience in onshore and floating applications, preferably with international contracting or engineering firms.
IT Skills: MS Office, Sunrise system, Pipe Net.
Soft Skills: Self-motivated, good communicator, team player, capable of managing teams.
Preferred: Experience in naval applications.
Travel: Availability for business trips.
