We are currently looking for a Technical Safety Senior Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to challenging Oil & Gas projects in an international environment.

Your responsibilities

As a Technical Safety Senior Engineer, you will:

• Perform Technical Safety Engineering activities for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Carry out risk assessments including HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, SIL, FERA, EERA and SIMOPS .
• Develop and review fire protection philosophies and fire & gas detection systems.
• Prepare and review Technical Safety engineering documentation, including design basis, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and safety audits.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with international safety standards and project specifications.
• Support multiple engineering projects simultaneously while proactively identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Safety or related Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in Technical Safety Engineering within Oil & Gas projects (Onshore and Offshore).
• Strong knowledge of:
• HAZOP
• HAZID
• QRA
• LOPA
• SIL
• Fire Protection Engineering
• Safety Critical Elements (SCE)
• Experience with engineering software such as DNV PHAST, PHAWorks, DsPED , AutoCAD or similar.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work in Rome.
