This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded Mechanical Engineer to drive adoption of a breakthrough plastic wire product. You’ll join a well-funded, international manufacturer at a newly acquired site, combining hands-on technical delivery with client-facing influence across global markets.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead on-site machinery reconfiguration and process optimisation to support plastic wire production
- Partner with commercial teams to deliver technical trials and adapt solutions for client needs
- Support customers with training on polymer processing and baling system integration
- Act as the technical point of contact during client onboarding and solution rollout
- Play a visible role in plant development and succession planning
What you’ll bring
- 2–5 years’ experience in waste management/recycling or machinery manufacturing
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Confidence to engage clients on technical performance and process innovation
- Fluent in both English and Italian
