About the Role:

Novac, a deep-tech startup developing next-generation high-performance supercapacitors, is looking for a Technical Sales Manager with a strong engineering background and proven commercial experience to drive business growth across automotive, aerospace, maritime, and industrial sectors.

The candidate will be responsible for lead generation , managing technical pre-sales interactions , and supporting preliminary feasibility assessments for integrating Novac's supercapacitors into client systems, driving the newborn Novac Sales division.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new B2B leads and business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Represent Novac at trade shows, business missions, and technical events in Italy and abroad.
  • Act as a technical point of contact in early client discussions, supporting integration feasibility analysis.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare tailored technical proposals and solution designs.
  • Maintain CRM tools and contribute to accurate sales reporting and pipeline forecasting.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or related disciplines).
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, lead generation, and B2B negotiations, preferably in the energy, mobility, or electronics sectors.
  • Ability to engage both technically and commercially with engineering teams and procurement stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems and energy storage technologies.
  • Fluent English ; knowledge of a second language is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and international industry events.
