TITLE: PS Technical ConsultantPlanning Org: Retail Solutions/PS EuropeREPORTS TO: PS Managing Partner ItalyLOCATION: Milan, ItalyPOSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a QA Tester to join our team, with the goal of supporting software verification and validation activities, ensuring high quality standards.The selected candidate will be involved in test design and execution, collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to ensure applications function correctly and meet project specifications. The role includes participation in complex projects and managing tests that may involve multiple systems and environments.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Analyze functional and technical requirementsDesign and implement tests (integration, stress, performance, regression/non-regression)Define and manage test documentation (test plans, test lists, test cases)Set up and manage test environmentsExecute tests and analyze resultsMonitor and track defects using bug tracking toolsCollaborate with technical teams and end customersTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:Experience with testing methodologiesExperience in designing and executing tests on complex systemsExpertise in using Test Automation toolsKnowledge of Quality Management tools (e.g., Quality Center)Experience with Bug Tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Mantis)Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server and/or MySQL) and SQLFamiliarity with XML/XLS formatsIntermediate system knowledge (Windows and Linux, scripting)Knowledge of the Retail domain is a plusSOFT SKILLS:Good command of English (both written and spoken)Ability to work in a team and manage prioritiesStrong attention to deadlinesFlexibility and adaptabilityAbility to quickly understand new contextsAbility to work independently and manage own tasksAbility to interact with end customers (including on-site activities if required)Availability to work extra hours when needed
