China, with a strong international presence. Our R&D and manufacturing facilities are based in China, where
we design and develop state-of-the-art microinverters, hybrid inverters, and energy storage systems for the
global market.
As part of our continued growth strategy in Europe, we are expanding our presence in Italy and are looking
for a Technical Support Engineer to strengthen our customer service and technical support capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
After-Sales Support:
- Maintain a high level of customer service and manage support requests from local clients, including key
accounts and VIP customers.
- Establish and deliver localized training programs for partners, installers, and internal teams.
- Ensure the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process is executed efficiently and resolved in a timely
manner.
- Propose and implement technical solutions to optimize service performance, including improving response
times, managing spare parts and faulty units, and controlling costs.
- Provide detailed service reports to headquarters regularly, ensuring transparency and operational tracking.
Pre-Sales Support:
- Support the sales team with technical expertise during customer engagements, including on-site visits and
project planning.

- Prepare and present technical documentation, product presentations, and bid proposals to maintain a high
level of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze legal and regulatory technical requirements for the market and coordinate the execution of
required certifications with HQ.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, providing regular insights to the
product and marketing teams.
- Participate in competitive analysis by benchmarking Hoymiles' products against those of local competitors.
- Support trade shows, technical training events, seminars, and exhibitions in collaboration with the sales and
marketing teams.
- Provide hands-on support for PV system planning, installation guidance, and service strategy
implementation when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Based in Italy, with the ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally as business requires.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Education in solar energy, renewable
technologies, or energy storage systems is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role. Prior experience in the renewable energy or energy
storage industry is a strong advantage.
- Autonomous and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to independently identify,
analyze, and resolve technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and
cross-functional environment.
- Can speak Itlian and professional fluency in English are mandatory.
