Position – The role:
In this context, we are looking for several Technology Advisory Strategy Managers to join the Italian office and support the consistent growth that our Client is achieving year-on-year, while maintaining a well-balanced consulting pyramid.
These Senior Managers will focus on helping clients on their journey from "good to great" by delivering performance improvement and value creation consulting programmes, focusing on tech transformations and tech modernization programs across different industry sectors.
Position – Specific responsibilities:
The Technology Advisory Strategy Managers will provide independent expertise to enable clients' executives to drive value through technology and to enhance business performance. They will leverage their extensive expertise to deliver rapid and sustainable impact in the following areas:
- Digital and Technology strategy development, operating model, capability and governance design
- Product strategy and innovation, assisting clients with both strategy design and related deployment.
- Technology investment roadmaps and value creation plans
- Technology cost reduction, outsourcing and end to end Transformation
- Technology assessments, leading to possible re-platforming, rationalization and consolidation activities
- Technology due diligence, carve-out, and merger integration planning and execution
- IT crisis management and project turnaround
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- 4 – 7/8 years of relevant experience in IT consulting from top-tier Strategy Consulting firms or specialised Niche Boutiques. A dual track career in Corporate IT Operations & Consulting would represent a strong plus.
- Solid IT knowledge and/or proven track record in addressing Digital, Technology or IT consulting projects within one or more of the following areas: IT software delivery, IT infrastructure and operations, solutions architecture, IT governance (audit, risk, compliance, security).
- Experience in working with private equity portfolio companies, designing and executing value creation and integration strategies. Knowledge or experience within M&A situations would represent a strong plus.
- Decisive and result-oriented Leadership, well blended with sense of collaboration, resilience, self-motivation and the energy to drive results in fast-paced environments. Strong sense of belonging, willing to work across common goals, while motivating and tutoring junior colleagues with entrepreneurial spirits, providing clear direction to the team, and passion for innovation.
- Execution: a thinker and a doer, with a mix of:
- Ability to plan and deliver the strategic vision and proactively find ways to achieve goals, remove barriers articulating compelling reasons, together with the passion and ability to make things happen.
- Solid analytical skills and numeric capabilities with attention to details to address practical, data-driven concrete solutions.
- Action orientation and drive for results, with sense of urgency. Able to work under pressure to meet challenges deadlines.
- Effective and mature communicator, able to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders in a variety of contexts, from entrepreneurial mid-caps to large multinationals and demanding financial players.
- You demonstrate a keen personal interest in Technology and Digital and remain up to date on the latest trends and potential impacts on industry
Fluency in Italian and English, with additional languages as a plus
