Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices, and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.
About the role
As Therapy Development Specialist EMEA, you will develop the peripheral arterial, venous, and AV business in the region and enable the countries to exceed their sales and income goals.
Reporting directly to the Senior Market Development Manager PI and collaborating closely with the marketing team, your main mission will be to implement the EMEA marketing strategy at the local level and provide clinical support and commercial mentorship to the in-country sales force and customers.
The ideal candidate should have a strong clinical and technical background in ESKD and PVD, along with selling skills to engage with Sales Leaders and physicians.
Main responsibilities include:
- Key Contact Point and Information Source: Serve as the primary contact for clinical and technical inquiries, including Sales Force, Business Units, and Key Opinion Leaders.
- Training Program Development: Assist in creating comprehensive training programs covering ESKD and PVD, including basic and advanced modules.
- Education and Training: Educate and train healthcare professionals, clinical specialists, and sales representatives on arterial, venous, and AV procedures.
- Market Analysis and Messaging: Identify portfolio needs and gaps, gather product and competitive intelligence, and help develop messaging for the sales team.
- Market Trends and Medical Affairs Alignment: Monitor and report market trends affecting sales, service, and product development; collaborate with Medical Affairs on physician training programs.
- Sales Support and Growth Initiatives: Work with sales managers, reps, and clinical specialists to drive PVD and ESKD business growth; translate strategies into marketing plans; facilitate in-service programs for customers; provide sales mentoring, attend cases, and present to customers alongside clinical specialists and sales reps.
About you
- Extensive experience in the peripheral vascular space/disease.
- Diploma or degree in science.
- Experience providing clinical support in Cath Lab or OR settings.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
