Havea Italia is the italian subsidiary (26m€ Net Sales in 2024, 30 employee) is in charge of the distribution of 3 strategic brands (Dermovitamina, Bears with Benefits and Vitarmonyl). 

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager with strong strategic and analytical skills, deep knowledge of the FMCG and retail industry, and the ability to lead marketing initiatives that support both brand and category growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and coordinate the national promotional plan alongside local-specific initiatives , ensuring alignment and effective execution across all markets ensuring proper planning, execution, and performance tracking in close collaboration with Sales and Finance teams, with a focus on promo profitability and ROI .
  • Manage promo forecasting , including estimations related to display materials and promotional tools, working closely with Sales and Supply Chain .
  • Analyze sell-out data for the brand's category and adjacent categories, with a strong focus on:
  • Weighted Distribution (WD): assess current shelf and in-store space allocation, identify growth opportunities to enhance distribution and improve SKU depth;
  • Promo Activations: evaluate the effectiveness of national and local promotions, aiming to increase consumer impact and financial return; collaborate closely with the Sales team and key customers to develop win-win promotional strategies;
  • Point-of-Sale (PoS) Materials: work in synergy with Marketing and Sales to develop more impactful in-store materials that drive consumer engagement; manage suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Conduct in-depth sell-in and sell-out performance analyses across retailers, regions, and channels.
  • Leverage data platforms such as Nielsen and IRI for market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity identification.
  • Support new product development (NPD) by overseeing the go-to-market execution, monitoring product launches, and ensuring the activation strategy is effectively implemented to drive visibility, consumer engagement, and sell-out performance.
  • Study and propose Perfect Store executions to maximize in-store conversion and develop impactful POS materials and activation tools .
  • Lead category management initiatives to enhance the brand’s shelf presence and category leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally and influence key departments —especially Sales, Trade, Supply Chain, and Marketing – ensuring alignment with brand and category strategies, without directly managing a team.
  • Actively support the sell-out team through in-field visits and ride-alongs across the national territory , collecting insights and contributing to the effective in-store execution of strategies.
  • Provide strategic support and deliver a compelling presentation to the sales team, aimed at enhancing in-store product distribution and strengthening the client's portfolio within the category.
  • Category management The objective is to drive visibility, optimize shelf presence, and increase market share through effective assortment and placement strategies.


Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4/5 years of experience in marketing or trade marketing roles within the FMCG industry, with proven exposure to Modern Trade/GDO dynamics .
  • Commercial experience is a strong plus.
  • A background in the wellness or health-related industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing mix within the retail environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and solid experience using Nielsen, IRI , or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build alignment across departments.
  • Hands-on attitude and experience working closely with field sales teams.
  • Knowledge of Space planning program is considered an asset.
  • Professional English (spoken and written) and French as a plus.
  • Communication skills, Team oriented and proactivity
