Transportation system specialist

We're Looking for an Automation and Control Systems Specialist within the infrastructure and transportation sector. This role involves managing, configuring, and maintaining remote control and automation systems for electrical and technological installations, with a particular focus on PLC and SCADA systems. The role involves designing and implementing remote supervision and control solutions, ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of installations.

Key abilities & and responsibilities: (by way of example and not necessarily exhaustive)

• Design, development, commissioning, and testing of control and automation systems
• Programming, configuration, and maintenance of PLCs and SCADA systems for remote monitoring and control
• Diagnosis and resolution of faults and malfunctions in automation systems
• Supervision of testing and functional validation of installed systems
• Collaboration with the design team to integrate control solutions into the final designs
• Drafting of technical documentation, intervention reports, and operating manuals
• Support in defining technical requirements for tenders or system purchases
• Training and technical assistance for operators and maintenance personnel on the use of remote control systems

All activities are carried out under the supervision and coordination of the engineering manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering (preferably with a focus on automation);
• Experience gained in infrastructure projects with particular reference to the to the transportation sector, subways (MT/BT/Electric Traction Networks)
• Knowledge of automation equipment (Schneider Electric, Siemens);
• Basic knowledge of French and English
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Good knowledge of the Autodesk pack (AutoCAD ) ;
• Good knowledge of C, C#, XAML language;
• Basic knowledge of networking
