We are looking for:
Calibration Engineers
to join a dynamic engineering team focused on powertrain calibration, vehicle performance optimization, and system validation. The selected candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and validation of engine and transmission calibration solutions, ensuring performance, drivability, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the vehicle development cycle.
Responsibilities : Develop, implement, and validate powertrain calibration solutions for engine and transmission systems. Perform calibration and optimization activities related to drivability, torque management, gear shifting, idle speed, thermal protection, anti-stall, and component protection functions. Execute vehicle testing and validation activities in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, altitude, and standard conditions). Analyze test data, identify issues, and propose corrective and preventive actions. Support functional, dysfunctional, and inter-system validation activities. Ensure calibration delivery and integration according to project milestones and quality requirements. Prepare technical reports, document test results, and maintain calibration databases and repositories. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and technical review committees. Contribute to the development of automated tools and processes for data analysis and validation activities. Support software and calibration releases, ensuring compliance with performance, emissions, and quality targets.
Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in automotive calibration, powertrain development, or vehicle validation activities. Knowledge of engine and transmission calibration principles, drivability assessment, and powertrain systems. Experience with calibration and data analysis tools such as INCA, MDA, CRETA, Concerto, Optisim, or equivalent. Familiarity with vehicle testing, data acquisition, and validation methodologies. Understanding of control systems, vehicle communication networks (CAN), and basic electrical concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Valid driver's license and availability to participate in vehicle testing activities. Fluent English, both written and spoken.
