We are looking for:
FAST Engineers
to join cutting-edge mobility and vehicle innovation projects in the United States. The selected candidate will support the investigation and resolution of complex technical issues affecting advanced vehicle systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve performance, reliability, and product quality.
Main responsibilities: Perform rapid root cause investigations on complex vehicle systems, subsystems, and components. Analyze vehicle logs, diagnostic data, test results, validation reports, and field data to identify failure mechanisms and performance issues. Lead structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, 8D, and DMAIC. Investigate issues involving vehicle control systems, sensors, electronic control units (ECUs), electrical architectures, and software-hardware interactions. Collaborate with software, systems, validation, integration, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive issue resolution. Support vehicle testing and validation activities by providing technical analysis and troubleshooting expertise. Coordinate containment actions, corrective actions, and preventive measures to ensure effective problem resolution. Track issue progress and ensure timely closure of action plans. Prepare technical reports, investigation summaries, and root cause analysis documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing vehicle performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
What we are looking for: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field 2-4 years of professional experience in root cause analysis, validation, testing, quality engineering, systems engineering, or related technical functions. Experience in automotive, autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or complex mechatronic systems. Strong knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FTA, and DMAIC. Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues involving multiple engineering domains. Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics, data logging, and validation activities. Understanding of sensors, ECUs, communication networks, electrical systems, or vehicle integration processes. Ability to analyze technical data and identify effective corrective actions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams. Professional proficiency in English.
