Within the Airworthiness Safety, Rmt & Lsa unit, we are looking for an Airworthiness Engineer for our Venegono Superiore office. The resource will be responsible for the following activities:
Acquisition of Airworthiness and Qualification regulations, following their evolution and updating;
Providing input for the preparation of the aircraft specification;
Preparation of Certification and Qualification Plans;
Collection of Flight Certification, Type Certification, and Qualification documentation, proceeding to their examination to ascertain compliance with the requirements of the SoF Compliance Matrix or the Certification Basis or the Qualification Basis;
Definition of aircraft Airworthiness conditions, issuing and updating flight limitations (AWFL) and evaluating Airworthiness Directives;
Preparation of the Compliance Matrix, the Equipment Qualification List, and the Mandatory Maintenance Tasks;
Interface with the competent Authorities;
Management of in-service aircraft maintenance (Continued Airworthiness);
Ensuring coordination, in the event of in-service incidents, of investigations and corrective actions;
Providing competent input for formulating responses to potential customer requirements;
Providing competent support in defining requirements for Equipments/Systems.
Education Master's Degree in Aeronautical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
Technical knowledge and skills
Experience, or at least knowledge, in aircraft, electronic, and mechanical systems, knowledge of civil regulations (e.g., CS 25) and military regulations (DEF STAN 00970, EMAR 21, EMACC);
Knowledge of the constituent elements of planning, the "top-down" breakdown of requirements, the "bottom-up" recomposition;
Knowledge of demonstration methodologies and types of compliance evidence.
Behavioral competencies
Proactive person, with the ability to interface with other company figures and potentially foreign clients;
Debugging and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work in multi-national teams.
Language skills Excellent knowledge of English (B2).
Computer skills Office Automation and in particular the software tools used for Activity Plan representations (Microsoft Project).
Other Availability to attend meetings with Certification Authorities or with the Client and willingness to travel within Italy/abroad or secondment is required.
